We aim to eliminate waste and emissions, maximise the efficiency and productivity of our resources and minimise practices that badly affect the country’s natural resources.
Landforces implements the policy of re-use before recycle, we do this by chipping on site for customers to use in their gardens or onsite when working on golf courses etc. so that it can be used again in the immediate area for pathways etc.
This in turn reduces the amount of driving needed to remove the waste from site. When chipping on site is not an option, we will always try to take the chippings to a local allotment or garden centre so that it can be used there. The final option is to remove the arisings to our yard in Heswall, it will then be collected and taken away for Biomass Fuel.
Landforces also uses ecology to help offset our carbon footprint, 48 trees planted every month and 4.7 tonnes of CO2 removed per month. www.ecologi.com

Quality Management: tree pruning – (crown lifting, crown thinning, crown reduction, deadwood removal and formative reduction), as per BS 3998:2010 – Recommendations for Tree Work; minor root pruning, aerial inspection, tree removal (dismantling in sections and clear felling), stump removal and tree planting as per BS 8545:2014 – Recommendations for trees from the nursery to independence in the landscape.
Both Kevin and Andrew are LANTRA and NPTC-qualified Arborists
and all work is carried out to Industry Best Practices. We hold a public liability insurance up to £5 million and are licensed for green waste disposal.
